MHK Designs Challenge #7

The MHK Designs challenge this month doesn't have to be Christmas but with this colour palette and our Christmas in July theme what is a girl to do?!
I have used two of the new release sets to make some mini table crackers. From an A4 sheet of thin card, printed with the red stripe from Simply Seasonal, I have die cut two mini crackers. These are big enough to hold a small trinket or a few sweets, they're just over 6 inches long. They are tied with curling ribbon but could just as easily be done with bakers twine or organza.
The tag is printed on pearl card with a sentiment from Candy Canes and Crackers and cut with a tag punch. The edges are coloured with a red Distress ink, then a small silver die cut holly sprig is added under a red gem, the tag is stuck on, not tied. This is also a great way to make place markers, just print the name on the tag.

MHK Designs July challenge

The challenge runs for a month so you have plenty of time to come and join us at MHK Designs blog, you don't have to use MHK Designs images but we would love it if you did and there is a chance to win two brand new sets including the paper set I have used in this project.

I would like to enter these crackers in the following challenges:
