Day three of MHK Designs new releases sees us moving into Easter projects. This set has a gorgeous bunch of lilies accompanied by five lovely sentiments. The flowers are so pretty they could be used for any occasion, just change the sentiment and it's a perfect Mother's Day card.
The lilies were printed on to cream card and coloured with my trusted watercolour pencils, I like the soft colours I get with these as they seem to compliment the vintage feel of the image. I then fussy cut the flowers so I could mount them on the card blank and have them pop up over the fold of the easel.
The sentiment and banner frame are from another new set being released this week called Easter Blessings. I liked the scrollwork of this banner as it looked perfect with the gold die cut corners I have used on the card front. The greeting was placed inside the banner using my computer, then printed on cream card and coloured in with a gold gel pen.
It is layered on dark green card and mounted on foam pads so that it holds the easel up for display.
We still have two more stamp sets to show you, plus some gorgeous Easter paper sets, so call in when you can to see what we have made. MHK Designs blog will link you to all of the Design Team's inspiration.
