Sequins and Swirls at The House Of Cards

The House Of Cards this month would like to see the use of sequins and/or the colours in the chart. I have chosen to use sequins on this simple card and one colour.
Using a Sizzix thinlit die I cut the swirls in the front of a white card blank, then backed it with a medium weight pink paper insert.  A pink ribbon has been stuck down the side of the card with the ends wrapped over to the inside, then I stuck the insert to the back of the die cut but left the other side free. When the light is behind the card it gives the die cut shapes a pink glow.
Three small paper roses are added to the ribbon at the base of the swirls and three flower shaped sequins, each with a tiny gem in the middle are added to the pattern.
With the addition of a stamped and mica dusted greeting the card is complete.
The House Of Cards challenge runs for a month so you have lots of time to create and lots of inspiration from the DT to help get you started.
