Welcome to the third new release from MHK Designs this month. This set has three Lovely Ladies in it and a small selection of sentiments for all occasions.
For this card I printed one of the ladies on white card and coloured the flowers pale pink. To compliment the flowers I printed off a sheet of pink gingham from Going Gingham as a base layer.
With the image die cut oval I chose to cut a scalloped oval for the black mat layer and mount these on the gingham. The gingham also has a black mat with a black strip across the lower part of the card. The sentiment was cut from white using another oval die and coloured pink while the die was still on it, giving a nice even white edge. All that was left was to add three tiny pink flower gems to the black strip to balance the greeting.
