Heart To Heart

    House Of Cards has a new challenge beginning today, the theme is 'Love'.
     My card this month is an Anniversary card I made using a pricking pattern and gold thread.            The pattern is printed on thin white paper, you lay it on the card you wish to use and prick all the little holes that are marked. The card is then stitched with gold thread to produce two interlocked hearts.
      The heart image is mounted on a gold mat and then on to a cream card. The edge of the card blank has been dry embossed using a strip stencil I have in my stash. Using a deckle edge blank helps toward a slight vintage look, as does the cream. It's quite a plain card but I wanted the stitching to be the main focal point.
